About the Role:

As the Production Manager, you will be at the heart of our client’s operations, overseeing the entire production process from manufacturing and print to despatch. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead the factory operations, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of products. With a team of 35 full-time employees and up to 20 temporary staff during peak seasons, you will be the driving force behind maintaining high standards and meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• and manage the production team, including two direct reports: the Manufacturing Manager and the Print Manager.
• a range of machinery, including, print CNC, lasers, wood, metal, and plastic-operated machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• the production schedule to meet short lead times and high-pressure demands, particularly during peak seasons (Public holidays, e.g. Christmas).
• closely with senior leadership to align production goals with business objectives.
• quality control and continuous improvement processes are in place to maintain high standards.
• staffing requirements, including hiring and managing temporary staff during busy periods.
• with various departments to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products.

Working Hours:

• hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• may be required during peak seasons, including weekends and evenings.
