Procurement Coordinator (Filled)

Our client, an award-winning Design Studio that operates in the residential sector, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their growing team in London.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with trade suppliers, skillfully negotiating trade discounts, and maintaining effective communication with clients, suppliers, and the design team.
  • Order Management: Efficiently finalise and schedule deliveries of both hard and soft finishes for various projects.
  • Supplier Interaction: Initiate schedules and procure quotes from suppliers, negotiating and closing new business opportunities.
  • Project Timelines: Develop and maintain realistic project timelines, ensuring smooth progress.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with design teams, offering valuable feedback on lead times and providing assistance in re-specifying items when required.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Maintain and update Management Information Systems meticulously, keeping a comprehensive record of orders, invoices, receipts, and more.

 

Applicant Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years experience in procurement.
  • Skills: Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, and prioritise across multiple projects.
  • Process-Driven: Ability to work individually or as part of a team, with a process-driven approach.
  • Communication: Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, and fluent in both written and spoken English.
