Position: Industrial Paint Sprayers (Day Shift)

Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Pay Rate: £16 to 18 per hour (Day Shift)

About the Role:

Are you a skilled Paint Sprayer looking for your next challenge? Modus Careers is partnering with a leading Structural Steel Fabrication company based in Haverhill, Suffolk, to recruit talented Paint Sprayers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and spray paint on heavy structural steel components.
• Ensure surfaces are clean and free from defects before painting.
• Mix and match paints to achieve the desired colour and finish.
• Apply primers, sealers, and topcoats using spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and work area.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer, preferably with heavy structural steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in painting.
• Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and sealers.
• Understanding of safety standards and procedures in paint spraying.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shift Details:

• Day Shift: 7 am until 4:30 pm Monday to Friday – 45 paid hours per week
• Overtime paid at time and a half
