2 x CAD Designers | Essex | £26,000 – £40,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Our client, a respected design and manufacturing specialist, is growing. They’re now looking to welcome two new CAD Designers into their busy Essex studio — one focused on early-stage design and client collaboration, the other on production and fabrication design.
This is a chance to join a company that’s built its success on quality, trust and long-term relationships. A place where designers stay for years, not months. Where projects move from sketch to production under one roof — and where good work genuinely gets noticed.
The Roles
Each position offers its own rhythm, but both are united by precision, technical understanding and collaboration.
Design Development – Front-End CAD Designer
You’ll work closely with clients and project leads, developing layout plans, GAs and detailed design schemes in AutoCAD. It’s a role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, interpreting briefs and turning concepts into intelligent, buildable plans.
Fabrication Design – Production CAD Designer
This side focuses on design for manufacture. You’ll create detailed models and fabrication drawings in SolidWorks, helping translate bespoke ideas into tangible, precision-engineered products. Perfect for someone with a technical mindset and a love for accuracy and detail.
